We are seeking a part-time skilled and detail-oriented Asst. Video Editor & Media Operations Specialist to
join our post-production team. This role involves assembling and finalizing video segments into
cohesive, broadcast-ready timelines, managing file deliveries, and ensuring technical and
creative excellence across all outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble producer-submitted packages into complete timelines, ensuring alignment with
timing, transitions, graphics, and creative/network standards.
• Prepare captioned versions and sidecar files for delivery.
• Export and compress media using a wide range of codecs and file types tailored to
specific affiliate requirements.
• Perform color correction and audio leveling to meet consistency and broadcast standards.
• Conduct thorough QC checks of all final outputs to ensure they meet required
specifications.
• Maintain accurate version control, tracking and labeling each revision throughout the
editing process.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure consistent quality across all exports and
deliverables.
• Oversee media management including digital asset tagging, filing, and backup to tape
systems.
• Support the archiving process and maintain organized media storage.
Qualifications:
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong working knowledge of After Effects and Audition.
• Experience in multi-versioning workflows and broadcast deliveries.
• Familiarity with transcoding systems to automate exports and distribution workflows.
• Ability to learn and adapt to proprietary transcoding automation systems.
• Strong storytelling and editorial skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
