Manage financial transactions related to banking and investments for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and providing strategic insights to support treasury operations.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Bank Transactions & Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor cash balances, ensuring liquidity management aligns with investment strategies.
- Investment Accounting & Reporting:
- Record investment journal entries, tracking transactions and valuations.
- Prepare investment reports for a portfolio exceeding $700 million, analyzing performance, risk exposure, and compliance with industry standards.
- Support investment reconciliations, ensuring accurate tracking of securities, derivatives, and fixed-income instruments.
- Financial Analytics & Strategy:
- Conduct financial analysis related to investment performance, risk assessment, and return optimization.
- Provide forecasting and reporting on treasury metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with P&C insurance industry regulatory requirements and financial best practices.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- BS degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Experience in investment reporting, financial analysis, and treasury operations
MINIMUM SKILL QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet strict timelines
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of professional experience in financial or business environment, with a strong understanding of accounting principles preferred
- CPA certification
- Understanding of SSAP accounting principles
- Experience in investment reporting for the P&C insurance industry
