Office Assistant - Forest, VA

POSITION SUMMARY:

Serve as a member of the county support team through member services including providing front desk support and taking/directing incoming calls.

PRIMARY DUTIES

· Insurance business administrative support: answer customer inquiries via phone, e-mail and in-person, submit claim reports, filing, prepare correspondence.

· Maintain county office supplies

· Open and close office.

· Maintain Insurance financial account system. Record all money transactions and complete payment log

· Maintain accurate county membership information by administering the membership renewal process, assigning new membership numbers, conducting the annual membership service check. This position is responsible for the office’s adherence to the membership policy.

· Ability to operate all office equipment such as telephone, printer, postage machine and fax machine.
