LOCATION

Richmond, Virginia (West Creek Office Park – Goochland, VA)

Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Hybrid work schedule is offered.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Maintains rate manuals and filing documentation required by law.
• Coordinates Countryway rate, rule and form regulatory filings.
• Monitors and reviews rating organizations (ISO, AAIS) filings.
• Compiles data and assists with preparation of supporting documentation required for product filings with the state Departments of Insurance.
• Prepares communications of rate, rule and form changes for all areas of the company as required. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires Bachelor degree
• Minimum of 1-3 years of property/casualty insurance experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office software particularly Word, Excel and Access.

MINIMUM SKILL QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires effective oral and written communication skills.
• Requires attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Motivated, self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with Property &Casualty actuarial concepts and standards
• Experience with preparation of actuarial exhibits in support of rate filings
